What is an Audiometry Test?
An audiometry test is a valuable test that measures the strength of a worker’s hearing abilities. The test is quick and effective; providing both the employer and worker with information on how to protect their hearing while on the job.
The employee will sit in a CSA approved sound booth in our mobile facility and listen to a series of beeps and tones. The volume of each beep will slowly reduce in volume, while the worker clicks the responder button to determine if they hear the sound.
At the end of the test, our technicians will go over the results with the worker, providing them with information about their hearing. We also discuss if any additional support is required and review their hearing protection to ensure it supports your Hearing Conservation Program.
This test is invaluable to the health and quality of life for your employees. Make sure you schedule your occupational audiometry with our team immediately. Our service is available in Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Edmonton, and across Alberta as well as Saskatchewan, and Eastern BC.
